Health Requirements Before Boarding
Every Kitty Cottage guest must meet our current health and safety requirements before arrival.
These requirements help protect your cat, the other feline guests staying with us, and our caregivers.
Depending on your cat’s lifestyle and health, requirements may include:
- Current Rabies vaccination
- Current FVRCP vaccination
- Additional vaccination documentation for cats with outdoor exposure
- Flea prevention
- Spay or neuter status
- Veterinary documentation
- Medical history
- Emergency authorization

Requesting a Stay for a Cat Who Takes Medication
Many cats require medication during boarding.
That may include senior cats, cats managing chronic conditions, or cats receiving temporary treatment.
Kitty Cottage caregivers can accommodate many common medication routines when arranged in advance.
Depending on the guest, this may include:
- Oral medications
- Liquid medications
- Topical medications

Requesting a Stay for Multiple Cats
Have more than one cat?
Let us know how many cats will be staying and whether they normally live comfortably together.
Compatible cats from the same household may be able to share accommodations.
Separate condo options are also available for cats who benefit from having their own personal space.
When requesting your stay, tell us about:

- Whether they are bonded
- Whether they normally sleep or eat together
- Whether they ever become territorial

Submitting the form begins the conversation.
1. We Review Your Requested Dates
We’ll look at the check-in and check-out dates you provided and determine whether we may have appropriate accommodations available.
2. We Review Your Cat’s Information
We’ll also look at the details you provided about your cat, including age, medications, health needs, personality, and other important information.
3. We Follow Up
A Kitty Cottage team member can contact you regarding availability and next steps.
We may ask additional questions if your cat has special medical, dietary, behavioral, or accommodation needs.
4. You Complete Pre-Stay Requirements
Before arrival, make sure your cat meets our Health & Safety Requirements.

5. Arrive for Your Scheduled Appointment
Check-in is by appointment.
At arrival, we can review the information, food, medications, documents, and belongings needed for your cat’s stay.
