Does my cat have a private condo?

Kitty Cottage provides private, multi-level accommodations designed for feline guests. Cats from the same household may also be able to share accommodations depending on their needs and the boarding arrangement you select.

Can I bring my cat's normal food?

Yes. Changing a cat's diet can sometimes lead to upset stomachs, so we prefer that guests eat the food they are accustomed to having at home. Please bring enough of your cat's regular food to last for their entire stay.

What happens if I forget to bring food?

If you do not provide enough food for your cat's visit, we will feed them an appropriate wet or dry diet. An additional charge will apply for house food.

Can my cats share a condo?

Compatible cats from the same household can share accommodations. If you're unsure whether it would be better for your cats to share a space or have individual condos, let us know when you request their stay. We can discuss your cats' habits and personalities to help determine the best arrangement.

Are there dogs at Kitty Cottage?

No. Kitty Cottage is a cat-only facility. We do not board dogs.

Does my cat get time to play outside their condo?

Yes. Our caregivers provide daily enrichment and playtime based on each cat's comfort level and physical abilities.

What should I bring?

First-time guests should review our New Guest Information page to learn exactly what they'll need for check-in. In general, you should plan to bring enough food for your cat's entire stay, any medications your cat requires (in their original containers), and up-to-date veterinary records showing that your cat meets all Health & Safety requirements. You may also bring a favorite small blanket or familiar toy if you'd like your cat to have a piece of home nearby.

Do I need to bring litter?

No. We provide clean accommodations, fresh litter, and clean bedding daily.

Can I board a cat who takes medication?

Cats requiring medication are welcome as long as we can safely accommodate their needs. Our experienced caregivers can administer oral and topical medications, inhalers, subcutaneous fluids, and many other treatments. Additional fees apply for medication administration. Do you board diabetic cats?

We can accommodate many cats who require insulin injections, provided their diabetes is stable. Please contact us to discuss your cat's specific medical needs before requesting a stay.

What vaccines does my cat need?

All guests must meet our current Health & Safety Requirements before boarding, which generally includes Rabies and FVRCP vaccinations.

Can I visit my cat during their stay?

Because we want to minimize stress and maintain a peaceful environment for all of the cats staying with us, we do not allow visitation during boarding stays.
