Photos of Our Feline Guests and Condos

A Look Inside Our Cats-Only Cottage
Photos tell the story of a boarding stay better than any description. The pictures in this gallery were taken at our Franklin facility and show real guests doing what cats do best: napping in the sun, supervising the front desk, stretching out on cozy bedding and watching the world go by from a favorite perch.
Every image was taken in a building that houses cats and only cats. There are no dogs, no barking and no unfamiliar canine scents, just a quiet environment arranged around feline comfort. If you'd like to understand how the spaces work, our cat boarding accommodations page walks through each part of a condo in detail.

Private Multi-Level Condos
Several photos show our multi-level kitty condos. Each one gives a guest room to rest, eat, climb and observe, with separate areas for food and litter so the condo feels organized the way cats like their territory to be. Shelves at different heights let your cat choose where to spend the day, whether that's tucked up high or stretched out low.
Cozy bedding is provided for every guest, and you're welcome to bring a small familiar blanket or toy from home. Window-view condos are available when space allows, which many cats treat as their own personal television. Siblings from the same household can share a condo, or stay in adjoining condos if they prefer a little more personal space.

Guests Who Make Themselves at Home
Some cats settle in within minutes. You'll see a few of them in these photos: the orange gentleman lounging on the counter as if he owns the place, the tabby who decided the front desk paperwork was the best seat in the house, and the long-haired guest stretched out across a rug like it was made just for him.
Other cats take a day or two to feel comfortable, and that's completely normal. Our caregivers let shy guests observe from a safe spot and come forward on their own terms. Many of the relaxed, sleepy faces in this gallery belong to cats who were cautious on day one.
Playtime, Enrichment and TLC
Enrichment at Kitty Cottage looks different for every guest. For some it's a wand toy and a good chase. For others it's a scratching post, a climb up a carpeted cat tree, a sunbeam to bask in or a gentle head scratch from a familiar caregiver. Brushing, treats and attention are part of every stay, not an add-on.
We pay close attention to what each cat enjoys and build their day around it. Curious guests get more play; quiet guests get calm company. You can read about how we personalize care on our new guest information page.

Clean, Bright and Well Kept
Behind every peaceful photo is a lot of housekeeping. Condos and litter areas receive regular attention throughout each day, fresh water is always available and bedding is kept clean and comfortable. A tidy environment is one of the simplest ways to help cats relax, and it's something families notice the moment they walk in.
We also hold every guest to the same health standards, including current FVRCP and rabies vaccinations and flea prevention. Those rules protect your cat and everyone else's. Read the full list on our health and safety page.

Multi-Cat Households
A few photos show siblings staying together. Cats from the same household who get along at home can share a condo for $38 per day, while those who prefer their own space can stay in two condos for $55 per day, often side by side. Three cats from one home can each have their own condo for $75 per day. See every option on our rates page.
Guests From Across Massachusetts and Rhode Island
The cats in this gallery come from Franklin and from many neighboring communities: Bellingham, Medway, Wrentham, Norfolk, Foxboro, Mansfield, Milford, the Attleboros and across the state line in Woonsocket, Cumberland, Lincoln and Providence. Find your town on our Areas We Serve page to learn about the drive and local planning tips.
Whether your cat is a confident explorer or a careful observer, a kitten or a senior, we'd love to add them to our family of guests. Read our cat boarding FAQs or learn our story to get to know us a little better first.

Seasons at the Cottage
Our guests' days change a little with the seasons. In spring and summer, window seats are in high demand as birds, squirrels and butterflies put on a show outside. In fall, falling leaves become entertainment, and by winter the sunniest spots and softest beds are claimed early in the morning. Caregivers rotate toys and enrichment so long-stay guests always have something new to investigate.
Summer, from Memorial Day through Labor Day, is our busiest season, along with Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's week and the February and April school vacation weeks. If you're planning travel during those periods, reach out early so we can reserve the condo arrangement that suits your cat best.

Share Your Cat's Photo
Many of our favorite moments come from returning guests who walk in like they own the place. If your cat has stayed with us and you'd like to see them featured, let us know at check-out. We love celebrating the personalities that make each stay special, from the bold explorers to the gentle seniors who simply want a warm blanket and a quiet corner.
